I am a survivor, a mother, a wife, and a woman who has walked through some of the darkest moments of my life and found a way to keep going. I share my story not because it is easy to tell, but because I know how powerful it can be to hear someone say, “You are not alone.”
Through these pages, I hope to help readers recognize the signs of abuse, understand that abuse is never their fault, and find the courage to believe in their own strength. Most of all, I want survivors to know that what happened to them does not define who they are, and that there can be life, healing, love, and hope after surviving.
